HASWA Christmas party – 12 December 2018
Christmas was celebrated at the HASWA centre on the 12 December. The celebrations started at 11:30 and everybody joined in singing Christmas Carol with Councillor Stephanie Nunn and the HASWA Drama group. Antakshari (an Indian singing game) was played and jokes told and everybody enjoyed a traditional Christmas lunch and a vegetarian roast dinner. HASWA secretary Sansar Singh Narwal wished everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and to respect and enjoy each other’s faiths and cultures. He said events like these bring people together and improves social isolation in the wider community.

HASWA Christmas party – 13 December 2017
HASWA Intergenerational Connecting Communities Project celebrated Christmas at the HASWA centre on the 13th December. Mr Sansar Singh Narwal, HASWA Hon. Secretary wished everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Cllr Stephanie Nunn, Sally Miller and Surrinder Tiwari dressed up in their festive costumes and got everybody singing Christmas carols. Veena Jain, Storm V academy had everybody mesmerized with her Bollywood dance performance and finished by getting everybody up to do Bhangra dancing. Everybody enjoyed the traditional Christmas lunch and vegetarian food. Thank you to all our staff, volunteers, members and guests for making this Christmas party successful in bringing communities together.

The celebrations started at 11:30, everybody joined in and played Pass the Parcel, Antakshari (an Indian singing game) and told jokes before tucking into a traditional Christmas lunch and a vegetarian roast dinner.
