Christmas was celebrated at the HASWA centre on the 14th December. The celebrations started at 11:30, everybody joined in and played Pass the Parcel, Antakshari (an Indian singing game) and told jokes before tucking into a traditional Christmas lunch and a vegetarian roast dinner. HASWA secretary Sansar Singh Narwal wished everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and to respect and enjoy each other’s faiths and cultures. He said events like these bring people together and improves social isolation in the wider community.
