Havering Asian Social & Welfare Association (HASWA) was established on 29th March 1998. The Association is established particularly for the benefit of persons of asian origin residing in Havering to advance education, relieve poverty and provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons. HASWA promotes positive integration and community cohesion.
The organisation became a Registered Charity (Charity No: 1104919) in March 1999 and Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No: 4394262) in March 2002.

To work towards a society where each individual values, understands cultural diversity and works towards strengthening community links.
MISSION
Havering Asian Social & Welfare Association mission is to cater for all sections of the local community, particularly of Asian origin with specific emphasis on the isolated, disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals to relieve poverty, provide welfare, social and culture support.
