HASWA members celebrated Lohri on the 16 January at the HASWA centre. HASWA lunch club members celebrated the the festival by dancing and singing to traditional songs. The festival is mainly seen as an occasion marking the end of the winters and beginning of a new harvest season in Punjab, India and celebrating a new born baby and bride.
