HASWA had an information stall at the ‘Big Event’, YMCA Wednesday 11 June 2014, 11am – 3.30pm, Supporting Carers in Havering. The event provided information on services and organisation available to help and support carers in Havering. Sukhraj’s threading service and Nirmala’s relaxation/yoga class proved very popular at the event. The next day HASWA held a Carers’ Complementary therapies and pampering afternoon with reflexology, reiki, stress management and nutrition class, relaxation class and various beauty treatments. All the carers’ and those cared for enjoyed the afternoon been pampered and delicious Indian vegetarian meal.
